Senior Procurement Analyst
Job Description:
BASIC PURPOSE:
The Senior Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting and assisting in developing category strategies and sourcing initiatives, as well as designing, analyzing and providing complex reports based on the collection of data related to the sourcing, contracting, management and performance of suppliers and vendors. Additional responsibilities include contract management, systems (Coupa and Scanmarket) and tool support, process improvements and data integrity management
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Development, implementation, reporting and monitoring of Procurement spend analysis and metric standards to prepare recommendations for cost savings in commodity purchases, and for enterprise and compliance reporting.
- System administration for Coupa and Scanmarket systems
- Review current spending and identify areas of cost savings.
- Prepare and present findings during client reviews.
- Conduct assessment of supplier usage, internal customer requirements, and market research from both internal/external sources in order to identify products, services and suppliers for business needs, and generate saving ideas. Prepare and present findings during client reviews.
- Provide reports analysis and procurement expertise to internal clients contributing to successful business decisions. Identify opportunities where procurement processes can be implemented, upgraded or enhanced and take appropriate steps to do the work. Create systems to track and report on procurement activities.
- Manage contract and contract review process; act as liaison between the organization and the suppliers by managing ongoing contract efforts including: consolidation, monitoring and tracking contract compliance, reporting contract performance and savings, and randomly auditing contract terms.
- Prepare findings report to address current and future state and issues.
- Active involvement in RFx process.
- Governance over standards, policies, procedures, documents and determine compliance.
- Change control, invoice processing, performance monitoring and measurement
- Review and management of supplier performance by developing appropriate Key Performance Indicators, and performance reporting process
- Assist in creating a corporate Procurement strategy as needed
- Support ad hoc request for data analysis.
- All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the VP, Procurement
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain management or related discipline.
- 5 years of procurement, strategic sourcing and/or purchasing experience.
- Coupa and Scanmarket experience.
- CPSM certification or supply chain experience preferred.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
- Strong skill level in Microsoft Excel (for example: using Macros, SUM function, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
Experience with SQL, MS Access, Coupa, Great Plains, PeopleSoft, Concur, Contract Logix desired.

WORK CONDITIONS:
- Position is based in Boca Raton, FL.
- Must be able to sustain long periods of sitting, being on the phone and working on a computer.
- Able to fly without reserve and able to drive to visit sites as needed; (Approximately 5%Travel as necessary across country).
