Job Description:

BASIC PURPOSE: The primary responsibility of this role is to drive strategy and perform functions around culture practices and employee engagement, including leading Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives and Corporate Social Responsibility. This role is responsible for developing and executing initiatives that will enhance employee culture, well-being and engagement, and support and build the capacity of our team members to succeed and contribute to the organization’s mission.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Corporate Culture
    • Build, launch and manage both new and current tools, processes, and experiences to drive higher levels of employee engagement and satisfaction across the organization.
    • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics and developing appropriate measures and actions based on findings.
    • Collect data to measure employee satisfaction and employee engagement, including but not limited to surveys, focus groups, and 1-1 interviews.
    • Working with marketing teams to drive internal engagement and promote storytelling o Maintain knowledge of industry and trends by participating in conferences and educational opportunities, maintaining professional networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion:
    • Identifies areas of opportunity, develops recommended courses of action, secures senior leadership approval, and drives implementation on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
    • Support and enable expanded DEI training, tools, resources, and guidance.
    • Identifies, develops & fosters relationships with relevant external organizations, community partners, thought leaders, partners & vendors. Represents the organization with external organizations regarding diversity issues that affect the industry and works to build the organization’s brand and reputation for diversity.
    • Create Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and partner with them to engage and liaise on strategic plans, direction, and charters, identify areas where the company should prioritize efforts, etc. including facilitating the monthly ERGs leads meeting o Collaborates with the corporate communications team to create communications to increase diversity and inclusion awareness.

 

  • Corporate Social Responsibility & Environment, Social and Governance (ESG)
    • Developing and executing CSR programs as well as conducting periodic program reviews to assess outcomes and effectiveness
    • Manage the charitable giving budget to ensure budget is adhered to and maximize returns and benefits
    • Ensure policies and procedures for identifying, managing, and monitoring environmental, social, and governance issues are up-to-date and implemented across the organization in India
    • Working with stakeholders to drive and manage regular ESG-related activities across the location, including reporting
    • Working across the businesses in the location to inform and educate and ensuring that stakeholders understand the role that they (or their teams) play in ESG.
    • Assisting in developing appropriate internal and external communications regarding the company’s ESG strategy and progress.
  • Evaluates the relationship between those initiatives and indicators such as the turnover rate
  • Align CCI policies, procedures and practices with the enterprise-wide goals and initiatives
  • Report to HR Head and provide decision support through metrics and concise reports
  • All other duties as assigned.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Reports to HR Head, India

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Sociology or Business required.
  • 2 + years’ experience in Human Resources preferred
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Strong strategic thinking skills – ability to think of creative solutions to solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for effective communication to clients and project team members; including prior experience writing white papers, proposals, research reports, articles, and case studies.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Experience in educating and coaching staff. Required Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the executive management team that provides overall company leadership and direction.

  • Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
