Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely financial information, ensuring compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and assisting in financial decision-making processes. The CPA will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing data, and providing valuable insights to the management team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial data and analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare financial reports and provide insights on financial performance, trends, and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations and assist with tax planning and preparation.
  • Perform internal audits and implement effective internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and recommend adjustments to policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, including training and mentoring.

Qualifications:

 

  • Must hold an active US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum [X] years of experience working as a CPA, preferably in a public accounting firm or a corporate accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations and experience with tax planning and preparation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Integrity, ethics, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in handling financial information.
